WELCOME FROM OUR VICAR

[vc_column_text]The Christ Church Cathedral Group of Parishes is a Christian community of faith which welcomes everyone to worship in the Anglican tradition.

We witness to the gospel message of love, where all are welcome, regardless of colour, culture, creed or sexual orientation and who are supported on their journey of life.

Thank you for visiting our website.

Our group of parishes lies within the heart of the city of Dublin and spans the river Liffey. We are a small community of faith who endeavour to make Christ Jesus known through our liturgy, welcome and our witness in the community.

Please take time to look through this easily navigated site and learn about who and what we are.

The foundation and heart of our Mission as the People of God in the Christ Church Cathedral Group of parishes is our Eucharistic and sacramental life, in which we are built up as a community in Jesus Christ, seeking to worship God in the beauty of holiness and to serve Him in daily life.

Should you ever find yourself in Dublin and wish to worship with us, you are most welcome to do so. Simply click onto the worship page which gives the times of all our services on Sundays and weekdays.

God Bless

David Pierpoint (Venerable)
Vicar

A new commandment I give you that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you should love one another. By this shall everyone know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. –John 13:34–35

Parish Connections

CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL

The Christ Church Cathedral Group of Parishes maintains close connections with the cathedral. Parish and cathedral clergy work and minister together, while our parish choir are invited each year to sing in the cathedral. Parishioners are welcomed as part of the cathedral congregation, in particular for festival services such as the Christmas Eve and Easter vigils.

DAMER COURT

Damer Court is an independent living housing complex situated on Upper Wellington Street in Dublin. Arising out of the benevolent culture of early eighteenth-century Dublin, we are one of the oldest charities in the city. For the greater part, Damer Court is home to persons in regular employment, those of retirement age, students and trainees. Damer Court is administered by a board of governors (mainly Church of Ireland members) with day-to-day operations being under the supervision of a house manager and assistants who offer full 24 hour supervision throughout the year. For information on applying to live in Damer Court please contact Michael Kenny at michaelkenny.damercourt@gmail.com.
